No they don't. Longhorns Steakhouse does serve porter house steaks. However, they do consider steak cut up in pieces. Probably sirloin.
I'm not sure. If you use a food delivery service through your phone, then that's a way to get it delivered.
No they don't, but food is fantastic
No, they are not required, but it may not hurt on weekend evenings if u have a large party
Great food, large portions food, prices too
I have to admit being able to eat here is a lengthy process however that tempura fried banana is super good. Never thought id eat something like that but man was it good and the scallop sushi roll bomb......
Awesome food. Price is good and great for lunch.
Best sushi in Albany ... By far
Awesome food and service
Always great food and great service!!!
Good food, some entrees cheaper than similar restaurants. Service from waiter was very impersonal. Not warm or friendly at all.
The fried spicy tuna rolls were good tonight. I like the spicy mayo with mine. We also had some tempura chicken and hibachi chicken, but it was just too much to eat.The service was okay today. I have had a ton of problems with this restaurant in the past. Slow service, no refills, and unresponsive staff are just a few of the issues I recall. Tonight, the server was just extremely pushy. We were asked if we were ready to order within 30 seconds of sitting down and twice more before two minutes had passed. She was taking plates out from underneath us almost. Overall, it was better today, but this place would probably have been very bad if we were not one of only three parties here at dinnertime.
This place used to be the best. But, not anymore. Maybe it was the time of day? Stir fry was just blah, and the Sushi was off. Really should rate it one star, because we left there hungry.
More than 8 years coming here every other week, best sushi ever, we travel a lot and definitely this is the best, service is amazing, price is right, everything is just 100% great
Another one of my favourite places to eat. Great food and the sushi is amazing. Get the birthday roll!!!
Great sushi and food. Nice environment. Great for date night
The food was amazing. It was super packed, but worth the wait. The waitresses were awesome. Sushi bar area was great also. Prices are high, but worth it. I’m supper full and still had food left over. I will definitely be back.
The Shogun Roll is my go to. Absolutely delicious and never disappointing. The bartender is one of the worst in the city. I've tried most drinks on the menu and they taste horrible. So do I dare ask for a specific drink of my liking? Stick to the bottle or coke products. The hibachi is good. Last time I went they apparently ran out of the noodles they usually use and had spaghetti noodles instead. I understand the reopening and difficult times so I didn't stress it. But this place is pretty jam up when it comes to food. Service is a hit or miss. Oh and I added photos of the menu for this location because they are hard to find online. Hope they help.
All I have to say is, this place is amazing ❤ I got the Philly Roll, rainbow roll, and the double trouble roll, also while trying the alfredo roll. All if it was amazing and good authentic sushi. Be prepared to pay high prices as two of my rolls were nearly $12 each. Although it is pricey, it's really good. I would definantly recommend this place to ANY sushi lover.
This was a great quality place that served delicious food. I would have given 5/5 stars except for the length of time it took to get our meal the last few times has been over 45 mins. But everything else was great and would recommend.
Tried it for the first time and it was amazing even more than I hoped for. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was great and prices even better ! I got the fried spicy tuna roll and chicken habachi it was so delicious and as stated before much better prices compared to the other Japanese steakhouses. Will definitely be back!
I love shogun, i have come to this place for years. The prices are fantastic and the suchi is unique and given in great quantity. I dont leave this place feeling hungry, but full and satisfied. The customer service is also attendant and polite!
Great tasting food; friendly, fast, & attentive service by Val & Jassy.
Great place to eat food at for a date or a dinner before going to the movies. Definitely would recommend coming here to eat and have a great time and the servers were extremely kind.
I visited here to try sushi for the first time and I loved it! The food here is great and the menu descriptions are very detailed. This was way better than visiting somewhere like Tokyo if you won't miss being entertained by the chef. The portions are plentiful and prices are low and I'll be visiting often. One drawback, however, is that you get a little rushed out when it gets busy. Otherwise, it is well worth the experience!
Reasonable price, Korean owener and Phillipine hostess were very kind
Excellent sushi and service. Steamed dumplings and tepanyaki and cucumber wrap and... It's all great!
Always good! Never had a bad meal here in the 10 years I’ve been going! Absolutely delicious
Love the sushi. It is probably the best I have had anywhere.
Waitress brought part of my partys food forgot about me and my wife's food. 30 minutes later we asked about our food, she forgot, finally brought it and was missing soup, asked her about it she forgot. Started eating and realized we did not get our fried rice, asked waitress about it she forgot, said she could pack us some to go, I said don't bother. Asked for my check, 15 minutes later she finally brought it, took another 12 minutes for her to come get our payment. Then I forgot to tip. First time in my life that I did not leave a tip. Wont ever be going back.
It was nice and the was good 👌
We noticed when we walked in, the staff didn't speak to us. We were the only African Americans in the restaurant. When more Caucasians walked in, everyone was speaking to them that work there. Our waitress was not friendly. One tip for them is to be friendly to all customers and not discriminate. The food was tasty.
Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food. This is a real hole-in-the-wall that I can't recommend enough. Highly recommend the sushi and of course the hibachi. It's expertly prepared and hands down the best teppanyaki food (hibachi) I've had.Prices are fair for the quality of food you get, but be prepared to spend upwards of $10-15 per person.
Bento lunch box is awesome for the price
Good fun. Slow service. Decorative atmosphere
It was actually surprisingly good. Wasn't to expensive and I was full way before my meal was done. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a bite to eat and a drink. Really great selection on sushi as well
Easy pickup ordering. My hibachi chicken was great tasting, I only wish there was more rice or noodles that went along with it.
Warm sushi but decent overall
Service is wonderful. Sushi is good with wide variety.
Sushi was really good
This is my favorite Japanese restaurant in Albany. I love this place the food is always delicious.
The food and atmosphere were decent but the service and attitude were extremely poor. Tried ordering desert several time but was ignored. Got fed up and put my card on the table and was picked up instantly. Not worth the hassle to come back when we have so many other great restaurants in town.
Best roll we had was a prawn roll. Their Philly roll is not traditional with smoked salmon, it's fresh. They do not have smoked salmon. Their hibachi noodles are literally dripping with terriyaki sauce, way too much. Overwhelming so if you're not into that I'd ask for light or less sauce. If you're doing the vegetable lunch, just know you will get an abundance of onion, more than any other veggies. Service was really good. It was my first time eating there so if we go again, I know what to ask for, what I like, and what to expect. It is a bit pricey so it's good to know these things so you don't leave slightly disappointed like I did. Very lovely decorations. It's a great little date place.
Ate sushi here, it was good. There are 2 other place within throwing distance of here that serve sushi. I think it just depends on which kind of atmosphere you prefer. Shoguns is more of a quiet romantic evening of sushi. They also serve other Japanese dishes.
Food is great, restaurant is clean, and the wait staff are friendly! I especially love the sink in the bathroom, haha.
Good service and food will eat again
Delicious food! Friendly and courteous staff! Great ambiance!
Love this place. They have excellent food and service, no MSG, and really tasty. The lunch specials are very affordable. They have a great sushi selection. They have space for groups as well.
This is one of the few places in Albany where you can almost guarantee quality food and service. I've never been disappointed, and now it's our go-to weekly dine-out.
Have been going 16+ years. Love the place.
Some of the sushi was warm, but everyone was friendly.
Food is Authentic, Service is Great, and the atmosphere makes you feel as though you are actually in Japan.
By far, my favorite sushi and hibachi in Albany. Affordable prices, and their yum yum sauce delicious. For sushi I recommend the sunset roll, Maui roll, shogun roll, or the baked shrimp killer roll. *they're now closed on Mondays*
Always great food! Love the fried rice and chicken and shrimp! Soup is great when you need a little warmth. It was on the busy side but didnt have to wait long.
